One Place for Special Needs helps you find more and do more in the disability community. We act as a bridge between families that are looking for resources and professionals/organizations that offer programs and services to the disability community. It's the perfect place for the newly diagnosed family as well as for seasoned special needs parents and individuals. You can do a keyword search or simply browse through our categories. Find community programs and events, workshops, service providers, disability products plus thousands of practical web resources for home, school and the community.

All of our resources have a Bookmark button. Use Bookmarks to keep track of interesting events, potential services, favorite online resources and more. Your resources are saved in one place so you can view them later at your convenience.
My Email alerts
This is our favorite feature! Click on Email alerts and check off the types of products, local resources and events that interest you.
You’ll receive an email update when new info that matches your alert is added. It’s a great way to be the first to learn about new programs in your area. We’re the only disability website where resources come to you!

Community (Friends)
Find fellow special needs families in your area for support, play dates for your child or social outings for teens and adults with disabilities. Simply fill out your family profile, then use Friends to find special needs families in your neighborhood. You can even share and do searches of your child's special interests to see if there is a match in your area.
Parents your profile includes a "need help" or "offer help" section. This allows all of us parents an easy way to help each other. Friends is simply the best way to reach out to fellow families in similar life situations.
Add info
We really hate it when websites claim to be resources then simply buy lists that only include address information. Every resource on our website has been added by those that work in the disability community. Become part of our great collaborative community by adding your services and programs, workshops, special events and products. Your info will be seen in our directories as well as our email alerts to interested families, educators and other professionals.
Parents you can recommend a service or event in our directories as well as add online resources that you feel can help other families. Please tell your child's therapists, tutors, etc. to add their info too. When looking for resources, please rate the ones you know. This helps other parents make informed choices. Thanks!

One Place for Special Needs is created and run by a mom of two special needs children.
The goal is to create a wide reaching network of resources across the country. Families should not have to feel alone and without support when their child is diagnosed with a disability.
