I can't believe we have reached our one year anniversary at One Place for Special Needs. Thanks everyone for being so supportive. Overall the response has been, "Awesome website!" from both families and professionals. I only wish Nina and I could clone ourselves so we could reach other states more quickly. Please drop me an email and let me know how you like the site or if you have suggestions to make it better. We'll continue encouraging organizations and businesses to add their info here. Help us by spreading the word about One Place for Special Needs to other individuals, families, educators and professionals. This is very much a grass roots effort! Thanks again, Dawn Here are some fun activities with picture symbol directions. Find more activities and recipes by searching for halloween in our Online resource section. Be a contributor to our website! Not only can you find local resources, you can also recommend them too. It's easy to do! Let's do our part to help families this month by recommending a pediatrician that has been patient and sensitive to your son or daughter's special needs. Just click on Add a local resource and choose the Healthcare category. Fill out what you know and select "I found this resource and want to share it with others." Don't forget to write a review too! For the child who is anxious about dressing up for Halloween, here is an alternative to wearing a costume. Let others know your trick or treater is still working on his or her Halloween skills.
